Livingston's is a old time soda shop in downtown Brownsville right at the corner of Washington Avenue and East Jefferson Street. I was in the area this past week and stopped there for lunch.

I ordered a club sandwich and an appetizer of hot pimento and cheese and both were great. The service was really good and the total was about $27 including a drink and tax.

I definitely recommend giving them a try!

El Charrito is a Mexican restaurant in Water Valley on Main Street just south of Highway 315. I was in Oxford a couple of weeks ago and ran over to Water Valley for dinner.

I can't remember the name of the dish but it's chicken with spinach and it was great! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

The service was also really good and reasonably priced for what all I got which included the entree, queso, and a drink.. The total before tip was about $21. I highly recommend them!
