Krazy Legs, Robinsonville, MS

No website that I could find so far. They are pretty new.

MAP

Krazy Legs is a new seafood restaurant on Highway 61 in Robinsonville (or what many people call Tunica but it's actually not quite as far south as Tunica) basically at the corner of Highway 61 and Harrah's Parkway on the east side.

I've been trying to get there for a few weeks but I'm not sure about their hours. A few times that I stopped by they should have been open but weren't but as I said, they are new and maybe they aren't settled in yet.

I did get a chance to go there this past Saturday and overall I was impressed.

I ordered a catfish shrimp combo and the total bill for everything before tip was about $31 which isn't bad for what I got.

In an effort to be honest, the catfish had an odd aftertaste but everything else including the shrimp and sides were really good. I will definitely go back but may not get catfish next time.

My friend got a pasta dish and he said it was really good as well.

Other recent trips:

Riverview Buffet, Tunica, MS - baked fish, Salisbury steak, chicken pasta, vegetables

Petals of a Peony, Cordova, TN - Beef and broccoli, spring rolls, spicy dumplings, my friend got chicken

Peach Cobbler Factory, Southaven, MS

Peach Cobbler Factory

MAP

Peach Cobbler Factory is a new dessert shop in Southaven at the corner of Goodman Road and Swinnea Road next to CiCi's Pizza.

I haven't been in there but a coworker has gone there a couple of times recently and I ordered peach cobbler. They have numerous types of desserts, not just peach cobbler.

I honestly don't know how much it was. My coworker took my credit card and I never looked but she said they weren't real expensive.

I highly recommend it and I will be back to try some other desserts!

El Tejocote, Hernando, MS

El Tejocote

MAP

El Tejocote is a relatively new Mexican restaurant in Hernando on Highway 305 at the corner of Holly Springs Road. It's been there a year or two. I went there a few weeks ago on the way back from out of town.

It was really good and the prices were reasonable. I got a combo with a small quesadilla, an enchilada, and a burrito and it was enough for two meals.

I highly recommend them and I will be back!

Mama's Wingz and Thingz, Memphis, TN

Mama's

MAP

Mama's is a small diner at the corner of Airways Boulevard and East Holmes Road directly next to the Marathon gas station, just a little north of Stateline Road. I went there a few weeks ago for lunch.

I got a burger and fries and it was very good. The prices were reasonable. I think my total was around $15 or $16.

The menu had several items I want to try so I will be back.

Margaritas, West Memphis, TN - Chicken quesadilla

RP Tracks, Memphis, TN

RP Tracks

MAP

RP Tracks is a bar and grill near the University of Memphis on Walker Avenue a little east of Highland Avenue. I went there a few weeks ago with some friends but I had already eaten and all I got was a side salad. I went back a few days ago and ordered a barbecue chicken Gouda quesadilla and it was really good.

I don't remember the prices but it was about average and the service was very good.

I will definitely go back!

Dominick's at Fitzgerald's Casino, Tunica, MS

Dominick's

MAP

Dominick's is a new restaurant at Fitzgerald's Casino in Tunica (well, really it's Robinsonville) MS. I went there a couple of months ago during the day but all they had was sandwiches, then I went back a few weeks ago for a VIP private buffet (yeah, I go to much) but since that wasn't their normal menu I wanted to wait until I had a chance to try something from the regular menu before I reviewed them.

I went last weekend with a friend because I had a coupon for $35. I ordered salmon and my friend got prime rib. I also got a crab cake appetizer. Everything I got was really good and my buddy said his prime rib was very good as well.

The prices aren't really too bad. With the $35 coupon, the remaining balance was about $65 so the total was only around $100 for everything we got.

Even if casino gambling isn't your thing, there are still some great restaurants. I highly recommend them.

The pictures below also include the night a few weeks ago when I went to the buffet.

Dale's, Southaven, MS

Dale's

MAP

Dale's is a full service family style restaurant on Stateline Road in Southaven a few blocks west of I-55. I've reviewed the in the past but in the last year or two they have new owners (although the same family and I understand it) and have also started serving breakfast.

I went there a couple of weeks ago and tried their breakfast for the first time and it was was really good. I got a Monte Cristo sandwich with fried potatoes.

My buddy got shrimp and grits and said it was very good also.

The food was great, the service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend them. We have also ordered dinner there a few times recently at work and it has been good as well. I believe most of the recipes are the same as they used to have.

I will definitely be back.
