El Agave is a new Mexican restaurant in Southaven on Airways Boulevard south of Goodman Road near the Firestone car repair center. I went there a few nights ago with a friend and unfortunately was a little disappointed.
The food wasn't bad but it was about average, average prices, the service wasn't particularly good, and there was a table full of extremely obnoxious, loud customers next to us which made it very difficult to have any kind of reasonable conversation with my friend.
I will give them another chance but for now I'm leaving my review at that. Maybe it's related to the COVID closings and maybe they were short staffed. I'll be optimistic and hope that next time it will be better.
