Germantown Commissary is a small barbecue restaurant on Germantown Road right by the railroad tracks north of Poplar Pike. It's been there a long time and most people consider it a staple of the area. I had not been there in years but was in the area a few days ago and stopped by for dinner.
I ordered I think what was called the Big Daddy appetizer which was wings, cheese, barbecue nachos, deviled eggs, and house made chips and my friend got a catfish sandwich.
My food was really good and my friend said hers was too. To be honest, I was a little disappointed at the amount of barbecue on the nachos -there wasn't very much- but what was there was good. Other than that, I didn't have any issues.
There was plenty of food and I had enough left over for a second meal.
The prices were reasonable. I believe the entire bill before tax was about $45.
I will definitely go back when I get over that way.

I haven't actually reviewed them because I don't normally review large chains. It's new to Southaven. They are a little pricey but the food is pretty decent. Most people seem to like it better than Subway.
