The Dutch Oven is an Amish cafe and bakery in Clarksdale, MS on Blues Alley Lane about a block north of 4th Street east of Sunflower Lane.
I saw a review of it a few days ago and was in the area today and stopped by and let me tell you, it was great. All I got was a club sandwich and a salad but both were excellent. The bread is baked in house. As I was leaving I also got a chocolate chip cookie which was wonderful as well.
As you might expect, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. All together including tip my total was less than $20.
I can't say enough about this place.
They are only only for lunch hours 10 AM for the bakery and 11 AM for the restaurant, and close at 3:00 PM and are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Give them a try if you're in the area. I think you will be pleased.
Other recent trips:
The Happy Mexican, Memphis, TN - pollo chorizo (I can't remember what they call it)
