Viejo Vallarta is a relatively new Mexican restaurant in Olive Branch on Hacks Cross Road about two blocks north of Highway 302. I went there a few weeks ago for the first time and was really impressed. They have you usual Mexican fare and I ordered a chicken quesadilla. The prices were about the same as most places and the service was very good.
I highly recommend trying them out.
Other recent trips:
Walk-Ons, Southaven, MS - Devil's on Horseback (shrimp) and Pepper Jack Boudin
I've been to Walk-Ons 4 or 5 times and every time but once they got my order wrong. This time I ordered Alligator Bites but they brought the Boudin instead. It was good, it just wasn't what I ordered.
South Point Grocery, Southaven, MS - Meatball sub, and a sub similar to a club
Saltwater Crab, Memphis, TN - various sushi rolls, the pics are my food and my friend's food
Sakura, Memphis, TN (Poplar Ave location) - Sunset roll
