AC's is a somewhat upscale steakhouse on Goodman Road in Southaven just west of Malone behind the Taco Bell. I went there this past Wednesday for lunch on recommendation of a friend for the Monte Cristo sandwich. I have been in search of a good Monte Cristo since Bennigan's closed years ago in Memphis and haven't found very many.
This one was very good. I've found one other place that has good ones too, The Half Shell in Memphis which I reviewed last year. They are both very good but AC's is much closer to my house so I imagine I will be going there more often.
The price was about what I expected, about $18 including a drink and tax before tip. A little pricey but not bad for the type of restaurant it is. The service was excellent. I went in after the lunch rush but I was the only person in the restaurant which surprised me a little. I definitely recommend it if you like the Monte Cristo.
